Award info
Two scholarship grand prize winners will receive tuition to the SCBWI In-Person Winter Conference, plus hotel and travel expenses.
Submission portal can be found in your Member Profile under the AWARDS tab.
Submissions open October 22 through November 15.
Winners will be announced on December 18.
Submission guidelines
Please include the following information:
1) A one-paragraph artist statement and description of current project
2) One page writing sample OR two illustrations
Writing samples may be submitted as a PDF. Label PDF with the following naming convention: "First Name__Last Name__BIPOC Scholarship"
Images may be submitted as JPG or PNG
Non-members may apply.
How to Submit
1. Click on your MEMBER HOME
2. Click on the AWARDS Icon
3. Scroll down to the BIPOC Scholarship box and click 'submit'
