The SCBWI Emergency/Tribute Fund commemorates members of the children’s book community, their lives, and their work. All money donated to this fund is used to offer relief to SCBWI members who have suffered from either a health, economic, or natural disaster emergency.

Each year, a grant from SCBWI's Amber Brown Fund pays for a well-respected children’s book author or illustrator to visit a public school that normally can't afford school visits.

Contributions to the SCBWI Impact and Legacy Fund support projects that highlight the important role of children's books and their creators in society; support quality children's literature for all communities and audiences; and provide education, financial support, and public information for children's book creators, their programs, and their good works. Your gift may be tax deductible and we are happy to provide you with a donor letter upon request.
