In this session, we will:

Passionate about fostering creativity and connection, Dean is here to guide you through the world of critique groups. With a warm, collaborative approach, he’s ready to help writers build confidence, share their stories, and grow together.
Dean is the SCBWI’s Critique Group Coordinator for the Benelux region. He writes middle grade novels that explore themes of friendship, teamwork and of the emotional highs and lows of sport. Dean has a passion for working with children, and alongside writing, he teaches, mentors and gets involved in youth-focussed social-impact projects around the world. Dean currently splits his time between Belgium, Switzerland and the UK and his writing is represented by Thomasin Chinnery of Zeitgeist Agency.
