Literary agent with the Tobias Literary Agency. Kelly has an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults and specializes in representing authors and illustrators who write for children. Her clients work on a broad range of projects from board books and picture books to middle grade and young adult novels, graphic novels, and fascinating nonfiction in the youth market.
Senior editor at Feiwel & Friends, an imprint of Macmillan Childrens Publishing Group, where she has worked since 2016 after seven years at St. Martin's Press. She has edited a wide range of titles, including the New York Times-bestselling I Love You More Than You’ll Ever Know by Leslie Odom, Jr and Nicolette Robinson, illustrated by Joy Hwang Ruiz; Anna-Marie McLemore’s When the Moon was Ours and The Mirror Season, both longlisted for the National Book Award; and new Fear Street books in R.L. Stine’s best-selling series, which has sold over eighty million copies worldwide. Kat is looking to acquire young adult fiction, especially high concept contemporary, realistic YA; mysteries, suspense and thrillers; and stories set in our world with a speculative twist (think “Minority Report,” not “Star Wars”). In the picture book and middle grade space, she is drawn to stories she's never seen before that feel both timeless and timely. Across the board, she's drawn to authors who bring a new perspective to their readers.

Have a polished project ready to pitch? Or a developed proposal for a Graphic Novel or non-fiction book? Here are some tips to help you choose the best match for your pitch:
Kat Brzozowski is a senior editor who is currently accepting unagented submissions. In other words, you do not need to have an agent to pitch/submit to her. If you already have an agent and are not looking to change agencies, Kat is your best option for this event as you would not need to pitch to another agent. Kat tells us she's "on a YA hunt and always looking for great MGs and PBs". Kat is not acquiring Graphic Novels at this time.
Maria Vicente is a senior agent accepting submissions for upmarket and literary fiction, nonfiction book proposals, and graphic novels. She's also interested in select middle grade, YA, and illustrated picture books. Please note that in terms of PB and GN, Maria will only consider submissions from author/illustrators (in other words, a sole creator both writing and illustrating the book). Review Maria's up-to-date wish list for 2025.
Monica Rodriguez is an agent who tells us she's working to "grow my graphic novel list as well as continue building my MG and YA list". Monica also has a call out for illustrators and comic artists. Visit Monica's wish list page to view the details of this artists' call as well as her topics of interest.
