WHERE

The Spring 2025 creative retreat will be at a new location, Mandala Springs Retreat Center in bucolic Cobb, near Kelseyville, Lake County. Mandala Springs' calm and serene setting with expansive views of the Mayacamas Mountains is perfect for quiet reflection and creativity.

The accommodations at Konocti Lodge and Konocti Cabins will be double occupancy. Konocti Lodge has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and the adjacent Konocti Cabins have 4 bedrooms and a shared bathroom. There is capacity for 15 people. Wifi and cell phone reception are both available.

There are 7 double occupancy rooms and 1 single occupancy room available.

High quality vegetarian meals will be served in the Konocti Lodge kitchen and dining room. Special diets can be accommodated with advance notice.

• Single occupancy room, including catered meals, 3 nights ($40 additional fee): $540*

Standard Pricing—available Feb. 8-Mar. 1

• Double occupancy room, including catered meals, 3 nights (standard option): $520
• Single occupancy room, including catered meals, 3 nights ($40 additional fee): $560*

REGISTRATION DETAILS

PLEASE NOTE: The Mandala Springs retreat is now open to SCBWI members AND non-members! Please log in to your SCBWI profile page before registering (After logging in, you may need to come back to this announcement and select Register again).Once logged in, the registration page will automatically apply the standard fee. Under Booking Information, you must also select Double Occupancy (standard option--no additional fee) or Single Occupancy ($40 additional fee will be applied to your total). Click on the green Purchase button at the bottom of the page. This will take you to the Stripe website for payment. The Registration Summary should indicate "Mandala Springs Creative Retreat" with the amount of your selection.

All meals and snacks are included in the registration fee. Please contact Natasha Yim if you have dietary restrictions so that she can pass this along to the caterers.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Refunds requested on or before Feb. 14, 2025 will be made in full less a $25 administrative fee. After Feb. 14, 2025, refunds less the $25 admin. fee, will only be made if there is a waiting list and a substitute can be found. This retreat is available only to SCBWI members.
