What is one thing we should know about you that's not in your bio?
One thing you should know about me is that the only job I’ve ever had for only one day is a dog groomer. I thought it would be fun to blow-dry fluffy dogs, turns out most dogs don’t like to be blow-dried!
What should we know that will make us want to run out and get our hands on a copy of your book?
This book is a mash-up of dinosaurs, birthdays, pancakes, and siblings making a mess . . . what’s not to love about all of these?
What is one thing you learned/discovered about your writing process or the publishing industry while you worked on this book?
The publishing industry is very slow, but the final books are worth the wait and I love illustrators!
If you live in a scene in your story, what moment would that be and why?
I am the Momma who walks into the kitchen and when I see a big mess - I have no words!
Finish this sentence: I could never have written this book had it not been for...
I could never have written this book had it not been for my daughter, Kellie. On a road trip to Sedona, we created the story together, laughing the whole time!
