Weʻll meet for a serene ZOOM hour of mutual writing, playing some calming soundtracks to keep us relaxed and focused while we work. This event is designed for all members, to hang out and create. It's a great way to build your creative practice with your fellow SCBWI HI members! If you are new to the chapter, it is yet another way to meet your fellow members!

Are you passionate about children’s book creation? As a member of SCBWI Hawaiʻi, you can access many resources, industry tools, find opportunities to connect with other professionals in the industry, apply for grants and awards, and gain valuable insights on the art of creating and publishing children's books for young people of all ages.

Join us for an in-person illustrators social event of sipping, snacking, sketching and talking kidlit illustration! Please bring your own sketching supplies and a book by a one of your favorite illustrators to share.
