We are excited to invite you to a book-making workshop to create your own 32-page children’s book! As a children’s book illustrator/writer, you will know that a children’s picture book is usually 32 pages. But did you ever wonder why?
Rajashi Ghosh, North Texas illustrator coordinator, will be conducting a hands-on demonstration and discuss the behind-the-scenes book-making process that follows a writing and illustration project. You will learn about the anatomy of a hard-bound picture book, the page assembly sequence, end papers, cover, spine and dust jacket.
