The author of 20 books for children (YA, MG, and PB), a four-time Oklahoma Book Award winner, the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Oklahoma Center for the Book, and a member of the Oklahoma Writers' Hall of Fame, plus a longtime SCBWI OK Regional Advisor, Anna will answer any questions you have about the craft and business of writing children's literature. The self-proclaimed Canva Queen, author, ARA, & Tulsa Connect leader Jennifer Sneed, will share her screen and her tips, demonstrating how to get started using Canva, or take your usage to the next level. From eye-catching social media graphics, to video, to adapting a template, basic graphic design principles (less is more, balance, etc.), rights limits, and QR codes, she'll demonstrate how to create low-cost, DIY promotional materials for you and your book(s).
