The Sky's the Limit!

  1. Where: The Beaverton Elks Lodge, 3464 SW 106th Ave, Beaverton, OR 97005
  2. When: November 9th from 9 am to 5 pm. Check-in begins at 8:30 am.
  3. Registration for members at the early bird price of $135 opens Saturday, September 7th.
  4. Registration for members at the regular price of $150, and nonmembers for $170, begins Saturday, September 21st.
  5. Written critiques cost an additional $55 and will be returned after the conference.
  6. Particpiants for the First Page and First Look sessions will be chosen from applications here. You must submit your work by October 7th to be considered.
  7. Morning coffee and lunch is included with registration. We recommend you bring a refillable water bottle.
  8. Cancellation policy: Full refunds, minus a $15 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations before October 24th. After October 25th, refunds will only be given for emergencies, at the discretion of the Regional Advisor.
  9. No refunds will be given for Written Critique fees, as that money goes directly to the faculty.
  10. To check your registration details, go to Member Home > My Events.
  11. There won't be schedules printed out the day of the event. Instead, QR codes will be available to scan for the full schedule. A few copies will be posted around the room for easy reference.
  12. Visit the Bookstore page if you would like information on how to sell copies of one of your books at the conference.
  13. By registering for this conference, you agree to the SCBWI anti-harassment policy, below.

We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. SCBWI reserves the right to require anyone not complying with the above to depart from any event at which any such activity has been perpetrated and to bar them from future SCBWI events.
